Hailey Bieber addresses a genetic deformity and shares photos with her fans. After attending a premiere with husband Justin Bieber, fans reacted to pictures of the couple and specifically questioned Hailey’s pinky finger. She revealed via Instagram that she has a congenital disorder known as ectrodactyly, which she says, “causes my pinky fingers to look the way they do.” However, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Brian A. Pinsky has a correction. He says, “It’s called Camptodactyly, which causes one or more fingers to be permanently bent. Ectrodactyly is a cleft hand, which involves the deficiency or absence of one or more central digits of the hand or foot. Her condition is somewhat common and causes no functional consequences unless the angulation is severe.
